About the Area

Would you like to join Area 4A?

Are you interested in horses and ponies: - Show, Show Hunter, WHP and Mountain & Moorland, would you like to become part of the British Show Pony Society? If you live in Derbyshire or its neighbouring Counties, you can join Area 4a.

You would become part of a friendly team, compete with like-minded individuals and amass BSPS points throughout the season for our Annual Awards Evening where trophies and rosettes are awarded for each section. You will receive subsidised flat and WHP Teach-Ins to kick start the Season as well as being invited to Master Classes by professionals and producers. You can also subscribe to the monthly News Review to receive information on BSPS Shows and Area Results and Classified Ads.
