Latest news from the Press Office! - Updated August 2008

Hi
Well what a great month 4A has had for results.
At the RIHS saw loads of our members doing
really well.

1st,Res Tidesbrook Rogar Rabbit - Charlotte Horne
2nd, 4th valentinos Royal Touch - Shophie Brown
7th Paddington VI - Amy Cook
8th Glencarrig Bobby - Victoria Edward-Sonnex
1st supreme Nantcol Lady penelope- Jessica
Renshaw - Smith
5th Pretoria -Kim Minchin
2nd Chaseford Aspen - Melissa Hatton
5th Little Storm - Katie Moult
6th Pebbly Hornblower - Tiffany Woodhead
7th Acton Humbug - Zoe love
3rd Chilham Panache - Victoria Leavesley

I think everyone would agree that these are
brilliant results from 4A. Sorry if I missed anyone
.

I have received loads of great emails this month, my first one is from Karen Gillott and her 3 girls.

Jessica is having a super season on her first ridden pony Nantcol Lady Penelope.

Three Counties - 4th

East of England - 4th

Northern Horse - 4th

Great Yorkshire - 4th

After top pulls at all of the above qualifiers, finishing 4th, she finally got her act together and qualified HOYS at New Forest.

New Forest - 2nd

Bakewell - 1st and Reserve

She also had a fantastic Royal International -

1st Pretty Polly First Ridden and taking the Supreme Pretty Polly Championship 7th Open First Ridden

Chloe is also having a great season with her first ridden pony Chaseford Aloof. Three Counties - 3rd

East of England - 5th

Great Yorkshire - 3rd

Chard - 2nd

Area 16 - 3rd

Scottish - 2nd Q HOYS

Georgia who has yet again had a very sad end to her season. (after her Dartmoor going lame at the RIHS 2007 with a foot abscess, missing most of the rest of the 2007 season).  I cannot believe she has had more sadness to deal with in 2008. After quite a slow start to the 2008 season she was just getting together with her new 122 SHP Penucha Lochlan and starting to chase her HOYS ticket.

Great Yorkshire - 2nd, where she rode him brilliantly in the poor conditions. Chard - 3rd, in a very strong class.

Unfortunately as I am sure most people are now aware Penucha Lochlan was tragically struck by lightening at Julie Templeton's on Monday 28th July and passed away. I would like to thank everyone for all their kind messages and phone calls, it has helped Georgia cope at this very sad time. Thank You.

We are now looking forward to the Summer Champs.

Karen Gillott
