Area 4A
Well I will start with our summer show, I think it is safe to say
everyone who was there had a great day and even the weather stayed
fine for us.
I
would like to thank all the judges, stewards and everyone who helped
out. Well done to a lot of 4A
members who had some great results at their summer show.
I
don’t think 4A has ever had such a good BSPS
SUMMER CHAMPS, everywhere I looked I saw yet another 4A Member
covered in rosettes. Here are just a couple of them. (I couldn’t
type all of them up I would have been here all night).
Firstly I would like to mention Valentinos Royal Touch who was 2nd
in the Blue riband show pony, then not only went on to be Champion
Blue Riband but also Overall Supreme Blue Riband. Sophie and Royal
Touch also won the Dennybeck Classic sp and went Champion.
What an achievement well done !
Over to the Blue Riband 153 shp which saw Kimberley Minchin and
Pretoria Win the Class and go Res Champion, Kim and Tori also won
the Free style and went Champion. Well Done Kimmy
Now
to the Blue Riband First Ridden and this was won by the lovely
Tidesbrook Rogar Rabbit and they also went Champion Mini Blue Riband
as well. Charlotte also was 2nd
in
the open first ridden and Res Champion. A massive well done
Charlotte.
Staying with the First ridden in the Blue Riband 2 more of the
placings went to 4A members 3rd went to Nantcol Lady Penelope and
Jessica Renshaw- Smith, and 6th went
to
Chloe Renshaw - Smith riding Chaseford Aloof. Chole and Aloof also
won the Hoys First ridden and Jessica with Lady Penelope won the
pretty polly and went Res Champion.Well done Girls.
Melissa Hatton had some good results on her 128 sp Chaseford Aspen, they were 6th Hoys , 5th Red Division, 6th Champion of Champions and they won the part Bred and went res Champion.Melissa also had a great 3rd in the Hoys 122 on Musley Rue De Royale. Well done Mil.
Moving on the Intermediates. Kimberley and Rotherwood Peep 'o' had a
great show winning the Blue division srt and then going Champion and
then Res Supreme Blue division, they also won the Travel Trust Srt
and were 2nd
in
the Part bred Arab and 2nd in the Restricted Srt. Well done Pixie.
In
the Novice Srt I took over the ride on Kims other
horse Touch Of Spirit which we went on to go and win the class
together.
Back to Valentinos Royal Touch but with a change of rider to Amy
Cook, They were 4th in the Blue riband Srt, 9th Red division, and
7th open. Amy also had a good show on Paddington V1 winning the
intermediate
show hunter horse and
7th in the open inter sht.
Well Done Amy.
Now
to the workers well done to Zoe Love and Acton Humbug who won and
went Champion in the red division heritage whp.
Emmie Collier and Carnaval Chaos went Champion
in
the red Division Whp, Champion in the Hoys Whp and Res Champion in
the Novice Whp. Well done Emmie. William Hingley and Friars Welsh
Punch won and went Res Champion in the mini Whp Championship.
Katy Prince and Guinness Pure Genius won the tiny Tots stakes.
William Prince and Red Robin II won the pretty polly

We also had a fantastic time at the Summer Champs.
We entered 15 classes, were placed in all of them and
only had one pole down ! The highlights were:
William - Millcroft Dow Jones
3rd Nov 133 WHP
1st Pretty Polly Nursery
2nd Champion of Champions Nursery
6th Desert Orchid Nursery
William - Friars Welsh Punch
1st + Reserve Champ Open Cradle
3rd Heritage Restricted 122
1st HOYS Heritage 122 WHP
Emily rode her Brothers pony, Punch, for the first time
over a course of jumps and was placed 4th. in the Tiny
Tots 1 hour after William had qualified him for HOYS !!! We only found out on the bush telegraph that William had won because Mum and Dad were engrossed in the Tiny Tots.
