In July the Meynell & South Staffordshire Hunt along
with British Show Pony Socierty Area 4A held a
country sports fun evening at the Meynell Hunt
Kennels Sudbury. Despite a wet night it was well
supported and managed to raise £800.00 which was
presented to the DLR Air Ambulance at the MSSH
Opening Meet at Radbourne on Tuesday 26th October.

I would like to extend a personal warm welcome to all our new members and their families. We want you to enjoy being part of our area and make sure you have all the relevant information so that you gain the maximum amount of pleasure from competing and everything the area has to offer. This can be purchased directly from head office. It contains news, views and forthcoming events. Each area has a monthly news report, our press officer is Clare Redgate, please contact her on 07974622031 and keep her up to date on all your news and results, I know she will be delighted to hear from you. Throughout the winter we hold a series of Teach Ins, all subsidised by the area. These fill up really quickly so make sure you apply early. All details are on this website. Our next Presentation Evenings take place on Friday 6th November 2009 and Friday 12th November 2010 at the Derbyshire Hotel (M1 - Junction 28) in South Normanton. All the children who hand in points cards (Sally Taylor 01773 550052) receive an award. Derbyshire Area
Area 4A covers Derbyshire and its bordering counties. Any
individual member of BSPS can choose which area they would
like to be in, but as a rule they tend to go the area
closest to their address.
